I enjoy cooking delicious, fresh and imaginative food, sourced as locally as possible. I have long standing friendships with local family run fish merchants, butchers and green grocers. My style is not fussy, so please don’t expect foams or dry ice, but rather a carefully balanced menu bursting with wonderful local ingredients. Think freshly landed Cornish fish and seafood, locally sourced game and home baked bread all teamed with seasonal vegetables wherever possible, some even picked from my own garden.
On a plate I prefer to keep things simple, letting the ingredients shine through whether a delicate bass fillet, a tasty fish stew or hearty game pie. But my food experiences and years spent travelling mean that I can equally whip-up a full-blown Indian feast, produce a table in the garden laden with platters of middle eastern salads to accompany a butterflied leg of lamb, or serve a BBQ on the beach with locally caught lobsters and griddled flatbreads.
You can leave it up to me to make the menu suggestions, or give me precise menu requirements if you prefer, I am very flexible and happy either way.
Over the years I have cooked plenty of healthy and tasty dishes for vegans and vegetarians as well as clients following a strict kosher or coeliac diet, so I am able to cater for all dietary requirements with a little bit of notice.
