I believe that good food should be a natural part of everyone’s lives; a time to talk and reconnect beyond just fuelling our bodies. For me there is nothing more rewarding than watching a group of happy people tucking into something fresh and delicious that I have prepared. You know you’ve done a good job when every last crumb has been eaten, all the bottles emptied and the hours have flown by.

Having spent a happy childhood growing up on a farm in North Cornwall a thirst for adventure lead to me studying at both the Sorbonne and the University of San Sebastian. After this I spent 8 years crossing the Atlantic and the Pacific oceans cooking for owner and crew on a French sailing yacht. An experience of a lifetime that has shaped my personality, helped make my french fluent given me an appreciation of global tastes and spices from far and wide. Along with this I have learnt the ability to perform under pressure yet remain unfazed in the face of the unexpected.

Since then I have continued to cook for private and corporate clients both abroad, afloat and in the UK; from the moors and rivers of Scotland to the beautiful Isles of Scilly off Cornwall. A husband and two children has led to a return to living on the rugged North Cornwall coast where I enjoy cooking for my friends and clients alike.

My cooking style is very much a culmination of my life experiences and my friends will tell you that I relish a good party... I am as comfortable planning formal dinner parties from four to forty guests, as I am catering for relaxed suppers, special occasions, or drinks parties.

That said I am equally happy to rustle up a simple home-cooked lunch with delicious salads, supply week-long family-friendly meals for your holiday in Cornwall, or prepare a tasty DIY beach picnic or barbecue for you to enjoy as the sun sets.

WHERE I COOK

I can cook pretty much anywhere from your home or holiday house to further afield.. Most of my food is prepped at home, and then bought to you to be cooked and finished off.. but I am just as happy cooking on a camp fire, a beating yacht or a temperamental old age, as I am in a professional kitchen.

I also not fazed by dogs, children (big or small) careering around, or the mess at the end of a good evening. I can even be on hand to cook you a full English along with Bloody Marys the morning after.
